Cyberc@re Philippines, Inc. is a group composed of persons with a common passion to help our less fortunate brothers and sisters. It was formed on 09 November 2008 after several cyber meetings, exchanges of ideas and sensitive discussions. Having met and gotten to know each other through the internet and finding out that we had one common noble purpose in life, our cyber interactions led us to the formation of this outreach program. On the 14th of the same month, fourteen (14) members held a meeting and each one contributed in the formulation of the Vision-Mission and the Objectives. Likewise, officers were elected and committees were formed. Furthermore, a project which involves the elderly was proposed, target date was also discussed and other matters that pertain to the implementation were taken up. Series of meetings were held to take up some concerns. Finally, the project was realized on the occasion of Valentine’s Day, 14 February 2009, thus the birth of Cyberc@re Philippines.
From then on, every quarter of the year has been set aside for specific projects like food feeding, giving of school bags to elementary pupils and distribution of loot bags at the home for the elderly.
The members realized that our group should be registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission for us to have a legal personality in all our dealings in terms of solicitations from our patrons and donors. The preparation of the requirements was signed on 13 November 2010 by its members and Board of Trustees. The Securities and Exchange Commission Registration Certificate was then finally released on 18 January 2011 as shown on our home page window.
The two big letter “C” and the Philippine map depict the group name with the sun and the stars which represent our county. The laurel leaf also represent our group globally as we received support from friends, acquaintances and close relatives worldwide. The hand is our symbol of extending our help to our less fortunate brothers and sisters and our expression of care for it gets people into it. The alibata characters is an old Filipino way of writing script which means our group name Cyberc@re Philippines. On an overall view, the shape was like a HEART which symbolized our passion and expression of our LOVE, CARE and to be of SERVICE for all those who are in need of our help.
